**Are you driven to support and help families who struggle with mental health issues?**

**Are you excited about the idea of running workshops, as part of a 6-week wellbeing programme aimed at parents, children and young people?**

Moxie is working with an incredible charity in the Caerphilly area, which provides much-needed support and advice to those who suffer from ill mental health, to recruit a temporary Family Practitioner to start immediately.

**As part of the Children's and Young People's Service you will**:

- Facilitate a 6-week wellbeing programme
- Work with families (parents, children and young people)
- Deliver a bespoke package of support to the families
- Provide one-to-one support to those on your caseload
- Manage a caseload and ensure they are given the time and attention needed to help them move forward
- Use and manage online resources
- Work with the wider project and other organisations

**What will you need for this Family Practitioner role?**
- Experience of working with, and supporting, families
- An excellent understanding of mental health issues
- Good knowledge of other local services
- Have worked collaboratively with partnership organisations
- You WILL need a drivers licence and access to a vehicle
- A real desire to help and support others
- Experience delivering training/workshops etc. would be useful but not essential

**Family Practitioner Role Details**:

- The project and workshops will be based across Caerphilly
- This is a full time role (Monday to Friday)
- 1 month temporary contract
- Hourly rate: £10.41 per hour (plus £1.50 per hour to cover holiday pay)
- Starting ASAP
- Remote and community working - therefore you will need a vehicle to get around

The Family Practitioner is key to delivering the support needed by those who are engaged with the charity, it's a really important part of the service and will help to change peoples lives for the better.
