**YOUR CORE PURPOSE WILL BE**:

- To ensure all food preparation exceeds company and brand standards and in compliance with the required, hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- Adhere to kitchen health & safety procedures at all times
- Ensure the breakfast buffet is checked throughout the shift and is stocked accordingly
- To carry out administrative duties as required e.g.Kitchen diary, temperature control, maintenance request lists, etc.
- Check food stock levels of items to be ordered, limiting wastage and following correct procedures whilst ensuring correct stock rotation on all sections
- Dealing efficiently with day-to-day guest service queries throughout breakfast and food serving periods, taking the appropriate action to resolve guest complaints
- Clear/clean tables, buffet, and kitchen
- Report anything considered a health and safety hazard
- Demonstrate a service attitude that exceeds expectations
- Perform other tasks at the level of the role as directed by your line manager in pursuit of the achievement of business goals (to include food preparation/cooking)

**WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING**:

- 2 years previous experience of a similar role within a Hotel environment
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated
- Ability to plan and prioritise
- Able to multi task
- Attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable approach
- Able to work unsupervised
- Customer Focus
- Literate in computer technology
- Ability to work as part of a diverse team with colleagues from different viewpoints, cultures and countries
