Bachelor’s degree or professional experience in Procurement
- Experience in Microsoft Office packages (including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle and/or COUPA)

Key job responsibilities
- Providing Procurement support to cross-functional teams at many existing sites. Managing the relationship with our internal customers
- Supporting local Procurement activities related to new site launches
- Identifying and managing a local supply base and managing supplier relationships
- Working with the stakeholders to enforce and monitor Procurement policy compliance. Engagement with the wider EU Amazon Logistics team to make improvements and alignment
- Leading, executing and supporting local and EU Procurement activities throughout project lifecycle
- Partnering with other EU Amazon Logistics Procurement Specialists to consolidate the supply base and requirements at an EU level
- Identifying savings opportunities and partnering with Category Managers to deliver savings through tenders, negotiations and contract renewals
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels to manage expectations and push back where appropriate
- Be autonomous and take ownership of tasks and ability to make decisions

- CIPS qualifications
- German, French, Italian, Spanish language skills would be advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience of dealing with both internal and external customers/suppliers at all levels
