We are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and motivated individual to join our busy village stores in our in-store kitchen, serving fresh breakfast rolls, salads, pasta, fresh daily rolls and baguettes.

In this role, you will undertake all aspects of the food counter, setting extremely high standards to enhance sales and provide our customers with the best experience. You will be responsible for food preparation/service, ensuring high standards of presentation and delivering the very best service to ensure our customers enjoy great food every day.

**What we're looking for**
- Previous experience in a food preparation and customer service within the food & beverage/hospitality/food retail industry is ESSENTIAL.
- Full knowledge of Hygiene & Health and Safety in a foodservice environment
- Current Food Safety Certificate is essential, or if expired, be prepared to re-undertake at the companies cost.
- Motivated by a passion for quality and great service delivery
- Commercial understanding of food-to-go/quick-serve market place in order to drive sales and profit performance within the unit.

16-24 hours per week from 6am - 2pm to include every other Saturday.

The position is initially a 9 month contract to cover maternity leave, but this may be extended at a later date.

Part-time hours: 8-12 per week

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
