- Do you have strong travel industry experience, proven sales record, customer service, operations and administration experience? It is essential that you have experience of roles centred around travel operations and booking travel services, as well as problem solving and meeting customer needs._

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
This leading Golf Tour Operator is looking for a new Luxury Golf Travel Consultant to add to their successful, busy team. The key role is to be responsible for all the booking elements of our customer tours with our main suppliers.

Key responsibilities are:

- Creating, costing and selling bespoke tailor-made luxury golf itineraries.
- Delivering outstanding customer service to new and repeat clients at all times, going the extra mile
- Booking all the elements of our customer golf tours with our key suppliers - this would include luxury hotels, golf tee times, private ground transportation and private air transportation
- Ensuring that all customer details are correct, meeting customer expectations and company sales targets
- Preparing and sending out customer itineraries and travel documentation
- Checking customer bookings and customer/supplier invoices along with timely payments to suppliers
- Other responsibilities include amendments, cancellations, changes and dealing with service issues while customers are on their tour.
- Remain primary point of contact from pre to post departure.
- Be enthusiastic and passionate to learn about the company’s full range of products
- Using Microsoft Office package and inhouse reservations system for all booking documentation
- Use your ability to be creative, innovative, proactive and 'think outside the box'.
- Be an excellent team player as well as being able to work on your own initiative

**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- An experience of travel operations and booking travel services is advantageous
- Passionate about sales, golf and travel administration and willing to progress within the travel industry.
- Problem solving skills in order to meet customer needs
- Organisation skills - great attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Computer literate with product knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Motivated to achieve both company and team sales targets
- Positive attitude to all aspects of their work and able to help motivate others
- Professional and polite manner, capable of dealing with a broad spectrum of luxury VIP clients.
- Clean driving licence

**THE PACKAGE**:

- A highly competitive salary from £25,000 dependent on experience
- Full Time position Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30 (Occasional weekend working and extra hours may be required in high season April - Oct)
