Mig Welder

Duties
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment through the use of MIG welding techniques
- Welding Axle's
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine welding specifications
- Measure and mark workpieces using rulers, squares, or templates to ensure accurate assembly
- Operate power tools such as grinders, drills, and saws to prepare materials for welding
- Set up and operate welding equipment according to specified parameters and safety guidelines
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using MIG welding techniques
- Inspect welds for defects and perform necessary repairs or adjustments as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in MIG welding or a related field
- Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, including MIG welding and stick welding
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Experience operating power tools and hand tools commonly used in metal fabrication
