We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Credit Controller to join our clients finance team on a 3 month FTC. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding debts from our clients while maintaining positive relationships with them. This is a critical role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices
- Resolve any client queries or disputes relating to their account
- Monitor and manage the credit control inbox, responding to queries in a timely manner
- Keep accurate records of all communications and actions taken
- Provide regular reports on debt status and debtor days
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients
- Liaise with other departments within the company to resolve any billing or invoicing issues

Qualifications and Experience:

- Previous experience in a Credit Control role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- A relevant accounting qualification is desirable but not essential

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pontypool, NP4 9XG: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- credit control: 1 year (preferred)
