Farm Worker

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic full time or 2 part time employees on a local Poultry Farm with a side of agriculture on the outskirts on Castle Douglas.

This role will include daily tasks working with birds such as walking the sheds in the morning, bedding up when required and general simple maintenance and assistance of repairs with mechanical problems within the sheds. Every crop rotation of birds the ideal person would be required to help clean out sheds ready for a team to pressure wash sheds and then help with setting up sheds after disinfecting and setting up for next batch of chicks. In this role there may be a potential of assistance required outwith the poultry sheds with cattle and sheep.
