Join us as our Head of Merchant Operations, Take Payments
- Join our take payment goal, supporting Tyl by NatWest and Payit customers, and hone your leadership skills as you lead and implement the continuous improvement for all our internal and customer facing processes
- We'll look to you to collaborate across the senior leadership team and other teams to identify areas of best practice and ensure process consistency across functions
- It’s a highly influential role and you’ll use you experience to build a high performing owned and outsourced customer facing operations capability that enables the expansion of our business
- This role is available for a period of 10 months

**What you'll do**:
You’ll have hands on leadership of the day-to-day business, leading all aspects of customer related operations covering core processing activities. We’ll also look to you to lead a team of process experts to make changes to processes and supplier mandates, making sure that these processes always remain relevant and efficient.

Along with this, you’ll be building collaborative relationships with key functions and suppliers across the business to improve operational process efficiencies and manage customer outcomes, and engaging with key stakeholders to make sure that operational strategies of the business align with the strategy of the bank.

You’ll also be:

- A single point of contact and escalation for the supplier, making sure that business issues across Sales, Operations and Technology are managed efficiently and effectively
- Deploying new functionality and product releases to scale the business and ensure the continuous improvement of our processes
- Leading and driving inputs on problem resolution and providing a uniform view of operations to the business
- Continuously working to identify and implement opportunities to improve service quality and operating efficiency, reduce unit costs, and mitigate operational risk

**The skills you'll need**:
Along with extensive operational experience in the financial services, business banking or Fintech industries, you’ll have excellent leadership skills with demonstrable success of improving performance. You should have strong business judgement with exceptional analytical, planning and decision making and management skills, and you’ll also bring strong communication and presentation abilities.

We’ll also expect:

- An entrepreneurial mindset with experience of running and scaling rapidly growing digital businesses
- Commercially focused experience, but with a holistic understanding of the operational, regulatory and acquisition based activities needed to manage cost and efficiency
- Experience of operating in a regulatory engagement
- The ability to manage multiple stakeholders within the business and across the wider organisation
