Senior Lecturer in Midwifery

Extensive, contemporary practice experience is essential, and you’ll have a keen interest not only in the developments of midwifery practice but also within midwifery research. You will be committed to the success of your students and be able to show that you can effectively support learning and teaching in both the classroom and practice areas. Substantial experience of teaching within a higher education environment is essential for this post a long with demonstrable leadership, excellent organisational and communication skills.

The successful applicant will be expected to undertake course leadership of a pre-registration undergraduate midwifery course, module leadership as well as assist in the development and delivery of other areas of the midwifery curriculum and related programmes.

Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview. This position is based in Preston.
