Senior Service Transition Analyst

**A Senior Service Transition Analyst is required for our client based in Manchester, for an initial 6-month contract (potential to extend further). This is a hybrid position, ideally 2-3 days per week in the office.**
The Senior Service Transition Analyst is required to support the Service Transition Manager to ensure that projects, new services, releases, and changes move smoothly from development into production. You will be responsible for the line management of 2Analysts.
Identifying, co-ordinating and managing service acceptance / service readiness activities you will ensure that new & changed services are delivered to meet customer user requirements before going live. Completing the necessary Service documentation requiredfor new or changed services; and work with other areas of the ICT teams to ensure that documentation produced is fit for purpose.
Ensuring that all the necessary teams required in transitioning and supporting the service are engaged and have the necessary Service documentation, skills and knowledge transferred prior to going live.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in a Service Management, Service Operations, Service Transition Management role
- Experience with the public sector
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to make decisions and drive solutions
- Ability to inspire co-operation and co-ordinate activities across teams
- Previous experience in a multifaceted environment
- **ITIL processes** including Service Transition, Incident, Request Knowledge & Problem Management (ideally level 3 upwards)
