**The Role**:Facilities & Maintenance Assistant**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities & Maintenance Assistan**t** to join our team based at our Havant headquarters to provide support and assist the Site Manager with general repairs and maintenance across the Plant, whilst delivering an outstanding customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**:Facilities & Maintenance Assistant**
- Perform routine maintenance of general building repairs, including plumbing, electrical system, painting and other associated works within agreed timescales
- Conduct routine inspections on equipment and building to identify any potential issues or maintenance needs
- Maintain inventory of equipment
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records to repairs and cleaning schedules
- Accept and sign in deliveries to the building as and when required
- Report to manager of any Health & Safety issues relating to building or grounds
- Maintain security and safety systems
- Organise and plan your work, including calculating the amount of time and materials required for each project
- Assist with the movement of furniture and equipment as directed within the building
- Provide support with the setting up of exhibitions which may involve business travel across the UK
- Assist with compliance of all health and safety and fire regulations across the site
- ssist and support other trades as and when required

**Key Skills/ Experience**:Facilities & Maintenance Assistant**
- Proven experience as Maintenance Assistant or other similar position
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Knowledge of technical manuals and drawings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity
- Passionate about developing and building excellent customer relationships
- Keen to work and develop as an individual and within a team
- A good level of IT competency
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail.
- Able to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks
