We’re looking for a super-organised Administrator who’s quick-thinking and versatile, proactive and can work as part of a team; the kind of person who can turn their hand to anything at a moment’s notice to ensure staff have everything they need to do their jobs and that the company runs efficiently. This role is a summer, temporary role is it for you?
**About the Role**
Mears Key Worker houses key Government staff by sourcing and maintaining suitable rental properties through the private rental market. The Move in Team are the first point of contact for our Service Users being responsible for co-ordinating the various stake holders to facilitate the move in of our clients to their rental properties, prioritising their needs and ensuring they are communicated with at all times.
You will support the Move in Team with various admin duties and responsibilities to deliver an excellent Customer experience to our clients. If you like providing a great service and you are interested in developing a career in the property market, this is a great opportunity.
- Take customer calls in relation any queries they may have prior to move in
- Assist the team with booking Temporary Accommodation where necessary
- Keep our database up to date at all times
- Sending out Inventories post move in
- Locating keys to properties and updating the system with information in regards to properties
- Arranging move in appointments
- Work with internal departments to ensure the best outcome for the customer
- Contribute to team meetings with ideas, suggestions or recommendations which assist in reviewing working practices and service standards, leading to continued improvement in team performance.
- Undertake ad hoc projects and provide support and cover for colleagues and other administrator roles within Mears Housing Management
- Take personal responsibility for developing own skills, knowledge and understanding of services, processes, technology and community issues.
- Observe health and safety legislation, The Data Protection Act and Mears Ltd policies on Equal Opportunities and Confidentiality in the execution of duties (training will be provided).
**Role Criteria**
- Proven office and administration experience.
- Great communication skills both externally and within the Team.
- Customer focused, problem solving skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- An interest in the property sector and in developing within the role and the Division.
