SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

- **Project Electrical Technician** **for Offshore Services Projects**:

- ** Up to £28,000 per annum with excellent benefits package**:

- ** Based at our Offshore Services office in Middlesbrough, UK with occasional travel overseas required**

As a key member of the operations team your primary role will be to co-ordinate the movement of equipment globally within the Offshore Services Division. You will work closely with a number of people including Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, Maintenance Manager and Operations Manager to ensure that our equipment makes it to our projects in on time while ensuring customs compliance and good record keeping.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a full time, permanent position to be based at our Sotherby Road, Middlesbrough office. Occasional travel may be required to our equipment bases overseas.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

- **Project Logistics**: Handle requests from the project teams and planners relating to the movement of equipment usually by road, sea or air freight; Oversee the preparation and packing of equipment; Make freight bookings; Co-ordinate between internal stakeholders, carriers, agents and clients.
- ** Customs**: Ensure customs paperwork is accurate and put in place in good time; Supporting the process of temporary / permanent import of equipment; Utilising British Return Goods relief on returning equipment.
- ** SHEQ**: Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards and procedures.
- **Administration**: Maintain good record keeping of all equipment movements; create purchase orders; complete all other relevant administration tasks to the highest standard in line with internal requirements.
- **Communication**: Constant and highly effective communication is required between the project teams, maintenance team and operations team to ensure timely and efficient movement of the equipment.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
**Essential**:

- Proven international logistics experience.
- Educated to A Level standard or equivalent.
- Flexible and willing to be on call on evenings and weekends.
- Knowledge and understanding of an Integrated Management System.
- Proficient in ICT in particular Microsoft Office Packages.
- Good level of English both verbal and written.
- Valid UK driving licence.

**Desirable**:

- Educated to degree level in a Logistics or Technical discipline.
