**IT Support Engineer - Droitwich, Worcestershire - £25,000 to £30,000**

We have recently partnered with an IT service provider, supplying bespoke pro-active IT solutions for SME with the Midlands with a strong customer-focused approach and emphasis on building partnerships.

The successful IT Support Engineer will join an extremely experienced fluid core team with communication as key to building inhouse and customer relationships. A huge attraction to this role is the existing team, with over 50 years’ experience you will joina dynamic and friendly environment with the office based in beautiful rural settings.

As an IT Support Engineer you will assist internal customers through IT support configuration, installation and maintenance of all hardware and software. A background in Networking would be hugely advantageous though not entirely necessary, server installsand management.

**The Role**
- Manage IT helpdesk and support on technical issues, troubleshooting, resolve incidents and respond to helpdesk tickets promptly.
- Provide 2nd line support for complex IT issues, work with users to find solutions and escalate to third-party vendors when necessary.
- Configure, install and maintain end-user software & hardware, manage mobile devices and perform preventative maintenance
- Offer support for remote sites and international partners and take an active role in technical projects.
- Document procedures related to desktop configurations and IT processes, maintain antivirus & patch management systems.
- As an IT Support Engineer you will monitor and maintain backup systems.

**Requirements**:

- Server Hardware Management, Asset Management maintenance
- An understanding of Networking - DHCP, DNS and GPO
- Antivirus and MDM, Active Directory
- Excellent communication (verbal & written)
- Valid driver’s license and your own car

**Additional Information**
