**Please note: This role is part time; your contracted hours will be 24 hours. This salary is pro rata as the vacancy is part time.**

**Job description**:
Working closely in a small, dynamic team, you will lead on the creation of service specifications for Occupational Health and Employee Assistance Programme, delivery of contract management, overseeing service delivery and supplier relationship management for health and well-being contracts.

You will be responsible for overseeing that services are delivering against KPIs, within budget, meet the organisational needs and align with legislative requirements.

Excellent stakeholder management skills are required as you will work alongside HR managers and the wider organisation to ensure contracted services support the health and well-being strategy, HR and attendance processes and wider organisational requirements through delivery of the core services and supporting health initiatives.

This is a fantastic opportunity as you will be managing high value/business critical contracts and supporting the Head of Health and Well-being in the development and delivery of cohesive health and well-being provision.

This role will have line management responsibility.

**Responsibilities**
- Key accountabilities of the role include:_
- Lead and support the Health and Wellbeing Contract Owner responsible for the day to day management of the contracts to pro-actively identify service delivery issues and service improvement opportunities, developing mitigation and delivery plans to maintain service delivery agreements and deliver continuous improvements. Act as escalation point to the Contract Manager for resolution of service failures
- Support Head of Health and Well-being in the development and delivery of cohesive health and well-being provision, identification, co-ordination and escalation of and associated risks and issues that could affect the delivery and develop mitigations
- Manage and develop the Contract Owner to deliver effective contract management, deliver savings and continuous improvement, resolving performance issues and supplier disputes to minimise impact on service delivery, deliver line manager responsibilities. Carry out all activities relating to line management of team members are undertaken regularly and effectively

**Additional information**

**Person specification**:
We are looking for someone who has contract management experience with an understanding of financial budgets.

You will need to have strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, able to confidently communicate in a straightforward, honest and engaging manner, ensuring communication has a clear purpose and takes into account all needs whilst checking understanding. You will have the ability to explain your thought process in a clear and effective way.

You will be analytical minded and pay great attention to detail to ensure information is accurate and consistent. You can work calmly under pressure, remaining composed and showing resilience.

With your excellent organisational and time management skills, you will have the ability to manage multiple and often conflicting priorities to time and of a high standard.
