This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed person who works with young people to extend their skills. Applicants must have a national Level 3 qualification in youth work or be willing to complete one within their first year of employment.

As a Project Youth Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people in your community. This is a rewarding role that requires passion, creativity, and the ability to connect with young individuals. All youth projects plan using the National Youth Curriculum which gives young people an opportunity to experience a wide range of activities.

There are two posts available:

- Ashby Youth Club (5 hours)
This post will lead youth work in the Ashby area. It involves helping with decision making of a local grant as well as leading and developing youth work in the area inline with the National Youth Agency curriculum. Part of this post will be face to face delivery on a Thursday night with 2 assistant youth workers whilst the rest will compose of partnership working within the Ashby area and administration.

Mobile Youth Van (5 hours)
This post will lead youth work on the new mobile youth van. It involves helping with decision making of a local grant as well as leading and developing youth work in the area inline with the National Youth Agency curriculum. Part of this post will be face to face delivery on a Thursday or Friday night with 2 assistant youth workers whilst the rest will compose of partnership working to identified targeted areas to visit with local partners.
