The Student Recruitment Officer is responsible for selling our Masters’ and Professional Development programmes to prospective local and international students.

You will focus on building a relationship with a prospective students, identifying their professional development needs and selling programmes that match with those needs.

You will also help develop marketing collateral and help organise live events, such as open days and webinars, to support conversion across all our programmes, including undergraduate.

LIS is a purpose driven organisation and it’s important that this person shares our passion for both education and what interdisciplinary teaching can achieve.

They will work closely with, and report to, our Graduate Recruitment Lead.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Using Hubspot to maintain detailed personal records for each prospective student in order to deliver a highly engaging personalised experience.
- Helping develop new and innovative ideas for workflows and messaging to improve performance
- Managing a pipeline of opportunities to meet our monthly and annual targets
- Creating sales forecasts for your line manager.
- Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of programme offerings

**Requirements**:
**Experience**
- Previous experience working in a selling environment, ideally within education
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an aptitude for cross-cultural communications
- Excellent interpersonal skills such as telephone skills, communication skills, active listening and customer care
- Be confident on the phone with the ability to make multiple phone calls each day
- Results orientated and can maintain a high level of self-motivation
- Ability to work under pressure, while achieving conversion targets
- Excellent organisational skills, time management, and attention to details
- Proficient use of Outlook, MS Office and CRM systems
- Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly

**Skills**

18+ months experience working in a similar role

Natural collaborator, working cross functionally and with a range of stakeholders

Self-motivated and relishes the prospect of working in a fast moving, start-up environment

Good numerical skills and excellent written English

Previous experience of a CRM (we use Hubspot)

Knowledge of Excel

Educated to degree level
