**Job Title: Accounts Assistant**

**Location**:Heather Park House, North Circular Road, London NW10 7NN

**Main Purpose of the position**: Support and Assist the Accounts Department in the Administration of payments.

**Reporting to**: Group Finance Controller

**Key Relationships with**:All Departmental Managers, All Contract Managers, Subcontractors and Directors.

**Start Date**:ASAP with immediate effect.

**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**:
**The role will be varied encompassing many aspects of account including**:

- Accurate processing of purchase invoices on software called Evision
- Assisting in monthly supplier statement reconciliations and BACS payment run
- All aspect of sales ledger, raising sales invoices as per the Quality Surveyor’s request, re-issuing invoices and raising credit notes
- Assisting in balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis and CIS monthly returns
- Preparation of monthly petty cash and entry into Accounting system
- General office administrative duties; filing, scanning and archiving
- Applicant must be detail-oriented
- Proficient in use of MS Office, particularly Excel
- Must be able to work under tight deadlines
- A team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good time keeping and attendance
- Knowledge of the plant hire system and previous construction industry experience would be advantageous
