We have positions available with immediate start date but also willing to wait for the right person.

Hours of work would be 1130am-330pm, Monday to Friday. Term time only would be considered. Some flexibility on hours would be great if you can work earlier or later in the day.

The role will be covering staff lunches and working in the room with the children, preparing for children’s lunches and helping serve lunches to the children and tidying them up, supporting staff with sleeping children.

We will support you giving you the training and mentoring required for you to flourish in this new role. We are looking for practitioners who are dynamic, has the ability to work as part of a team, be able to use their initiative and time-manage their day effectively to ensure the smooth running of our nursery and above all have a passion for working with children.

- Engaging children in entertaining and educational play through a variety of activities.
- Supervising children at indoor and outdoor play and ensuring their safety and security.
- Supervising children at meal times and during sleep.
- Supporting and assisting peers in planning and delivering the EYFS.
- Ensuring regular communication and interaction with parents to update them on their child’s progress.

To be successful in this role you must have the following skills and knowledge:
Experience working with children birth to 5 years
Hold a minimum L3 childcare qualification
Ability to develop and deliver an engaging activity plan in accordance to the EYFS
Ability to communicate with children and parents
Work well within a team
Basic IT skills

Pay dependant on qualifications and experience.

**Salary**: £10.70-£11.02 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
