The Domestic Abuse Hub was established in April 2023 and since then we have been growing our team to meet the needs of Warrington residents affected by domestic abuse. In our team, we have IDVA’s working with Adults, a young person service working with 11-17 years olds and specialist IDVA’s working with minoritised communities. We are proud of our achievements in this short time and would like to continue our success with this appointment.

**The role**:
Due to internal promotion of the existing post holder, we are recruiting to the role of a domestic abuse outreach worker to join the Warrington Domestic Hub. The post holder will be required to deliver a high quality service to victims of domestic abuse and their children, supporting them to live in a safe environment.

The key duties of the role will include:
Working with victims living in our dispersed accommodation,

Carrying a caseload

Arranging sanctuary measures to secure accommodation

Advocating for victims ensuring their voices are represented at meetings

Attending court

The post holder will also deliver domestic awareness programmes on a regular basis. The post holder will work within a multiagency framework and establish strong partnerships with various agencies and departments this includes, NHS, Police, Children and Adults Safeguarding services, Voluntary sector and Housing agencies.

**Interview date**: Monday 25 September 2023

DBS clearance is required.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
