**About us**:
The child / adult child to parent abuse service is expanding with a need for wider support to families, young people and parents/caregivers. You will be working closely with the child / adult child to parent abuse lead and work as part of the Domestic Abuse Hub. You’ll be case holding families as well as working with parents/caregivers who are being harmed by their adult child over the age of 18.

**The role**:
**What's needed?**:
You will need experience of supporting victims of domestic abuse, experience of undertaking risk assessments, developing support plans and managing a complex caseload.

You will be required to work occasional evenings to run a group programme. Previous experiencing of working with young people is essential as well as being able to engage with adults in difficult conversations. You will have working knowledge of safeguarding policies as well as a passion to learn and work with families experiencing child to parent abuse. A high level of emotional resilience and ability to work on own initiative is necessary for the post.
