**Job Type**: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Oldbury, Office Based

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4pm, Friday 7:30am - 12:30pm (37 hours per week)

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Operate standard tool room equipment proficiently
- Use a Forklift Truck to assist with daily duties and facilitate tooling delivery to production
- Ensure timely manufacturing to meet try-out dates
- Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise production downtime
- Adopt a "right first time" approach to all work carried out
- Liaise with contractors/suppliers when additional support is needed
- Maintain awareness and ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, housekeeping standards, and Company rules & procedures
- Follow verbal or written instructions and adhere to set-out procedures
- Seek continuous improvement related to business KPIs and contribute to the overall improvement of the business as part of the team

**Skills and Experience**:

- Ability to read engineering drawings; bench fitting experience is necessary
- CNC & Manual Milling (Siemens ShopMill & XYZ Prototrak Control) experience preferred
- Piercing, forming & cut off tooling experience required
- Experience with EDM Wire Erosion is useful
- Well-organised, multi-skilled, self-motivated & professional
- Good timekeeping & attendance
- Computer literate & able to communicate & record information effectively
- Attention to detail
- Ability to communicate at all levels & possess a “can do” attitude
