**Description**:
The Company provides a support service to single homeless adults who are vulnerable with support needs. This support includes accommodation, that is managed by us and therefore it is required that the properties within our portfolio are maintained to a high standard, always, therefore; it is essential that any repairs and maintenance requirements are addressed as soon as possible.

**Person Specifications**:

- Keen interest in DIY and energetic handyman with generalist skills to maintain properties
- To have good communication skills
- Good technical knowledge including but not limited to Outlook, WhatsApp and basic excel.
- Be organised and able to prioritise your work to meet specific deadlines
- Be proactive in your approach and pay attention to properties while on site and to spot any hazards or repairs that need attention.
- Knowledge of handling tools (example: electric drills, hammers, screwdrivers etc)
- Be able to work on your own initiative and in a team, to attain joint goals

**Role**:
To work closely with the Property Manager gaining knowledge and understanding of all the properties in our portfolio.

Ensure that maintenance and repairs required are reported and recorded accurately and prioritised in order of urgency.

Manager and organise daily worksheet based on task priority and respond to emergencies as and when needed.

Use self-initiative and take responsibility of the properties. Be the eyes and ears of our property.

Responsible for change of locks, furniture assembly, basic plumbing and electrical works, checking and testing of appliances.

To ensure that any repairs and maintenance are completed within the scheduled time.

To ensure that the project team leader is notified of the completion of repairs.

To ensure that keys are replaced and or copies made as and when necessary.

To undertake any other tasks that ensures the smooth running of the property department.

On occasion you may need to stay longer the contracted hours to complete a task that is on a deadline. Flexi-time can be offered; but must be pre-authorised.

Basic garden maintenance to be carried out when specified by your department

Ensure all properties are kept to a high standard visually. This will include clearances to front and back gardens.

Ensure all areas are painted to a high standard as and when requested by your department.

Remove or add furniture when requested by your department.

Arrange collection of belongings from ex clients.

You have your own van and tools.
