Trainee Money Adviser

**Trainee Money Adviser (Brooksbank Debt & Benefits Advice Service)**

**Location: Based at Brooksbank Centre with outreach required at various locations in Dundee.**

**Hours: 33 per week, Monday to Thursday (core hours 8:45am to 5:30pm)**

**Salary: £12.00 per hour plus employer contribution to auto-enrolled pension scheme**

**Contract Type: Fixed Term to 31 March 2025**

Brooksbank Centre is looking for a highly motivated individual to train to become a Money Adviser, working within our Debt & Benefits Advice Service.

Brooksbank Centre has our Scottish National Standards for Information and Advice Providers accreditation, and the successful applicants will be trained to deliver advice and manage casework, in line with these standards. It is preferable that you are computer literate and have a flexible approach and good work ethic.

Once qualified, we offer a starting salary of £24,408 per annum (£27,736 pro rata on 37.5 hour basis) and a pension with an employer’s contribution of 8%. Salaries increases beyond this are offered in line with performance and experience. Trainees should qualify within 4-6 months of their start date.

You should have an enthusiastic, committed and positive approach, and be flexible, with good oral and written communication skills. You should feel passionate about tackling poverty and making a difference to society.
