**Family Wellbeing Engagement Worker**

**Role: Family Wellbeing Engagement Worker**

**Location**: Community Venues and areas across the Wirral

**Your Opportunity Main Duties**

COMMUNITY SECTOR
As a family wellbeing engagement worker, you'll typically need to:
To gain/improve knowledge and skills,
- review an initial assessment from triage of families' needs so that you can identify and plan the support needed to such as group facilitation, working in address issues and prevent any problems from escalating partnership with co-tutors, assistant
- undertake regular caseload review meetings with individuals and families during community visits to ensure they're psychologists, peers and administration. fully supported to progress and achieve desired outcomes

To be part of a COMMUNITY SECTOR **carry out regular welfare checks and informal support group socials/sessions service that delivers first class support and ** work with colleagues, health and social care professionals and multi-agency networks to evaluate caseload needs training to all its staff and volunteers in and the progress that has been made their chosen field. **adhere to professional practice standards and legislation, including confidentiality, safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion policies**

To become more confident
- ensure you're up-to-date on your knowledge of local service provision for appropriate introductions, signposting and referrals
- manage your own workload, administration and diary commitments
- review parenting skills and help people to build physical and emotional caring abilities through a range of practical activities
- help children with learning and development
- enhance parents' understanding of different education and play strategies
- provide practical home management strategies and budgeting guidance to families using other organisations as appropriate
- coach, mentor and motivate families to understand the benefits of relevant activities
- maintain accurate and up-to-date administration and caseload records, including reports of all interactions
- attend court sessions when relevant, for example in cases of child protection.
- Support participants to feel comfortable and answer any questions they may have prior to the course session starting

- To help provide a comfortable and friendly environment for the participants on the VRP HITI Programme (F _ull training_
- and support given)_
- To work as part of a team to help give a positive parent/carer experience (F _ull training and support given)_
- To attend regular skill development training, supervisions, support meeting and annual monitoring

- Be able to build on supportive feedback from trainers and managers ( _Training and support given if/when required)_
- Aim to meet and greet on courses or sessions/workshops ( _full training and support given if/when required)_
- Attend quarterly one to one support sessions ( _Full support given if/when required)_
- Complete routine administration including basic records within the required timescales (F _ull training and support given)_
- Promote the programme to third parties (F _ull training and support given)_
- To let us know what support and training you feel is needed to help you do your volunteer role confidently
