**Contract Length**: Up to 6 month initial contract

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently seeking a Customer driven Senior Consumer Strategist on behalf of a leading Telecommunications organisation initially on a 6 months contract to focus on their mobile side of the business building the future of customer experience.

Acting as a bridge between customer insight, market trends & consumer behaviour and what different directorates of the business do in response, the Senior Consumer Strategist, Special Projects role will play a crucial part in developing the future state of the business. Working with a broad set of stakeholders, you will define a future vision that the organisation will be directing its mid and long-term efforts towards.

The Mobile Insight, Strategy and Planning Team is a small but perfectly formed team that works across the Mobile Directorate and beyond. It is made up of three distinct but co-dependent areas: Mobile Insight, Mobile Strategy and Mobile Operational Planning. We’re responsible for formulating the short, medium & long term strategies, grounded in customer insight, for the mobile division to propel growth today & tomorrow, and ensure direction permeates through delivery across the organisation, holding business units to account against plans.

**Responsibilities**:
Collaborate with cross functional teams (DI&A, sales, commercial, product and props, brand and marketing) to create marketing strategies and plans that deliver our KPIs across the full marketing mix
Analysing the market, customers and the economy
Understand commercial budgeting processes & translate the outcomes into core strategic initiatives and/or briefings
Bring ‘helicopter view’ thinking with a touch of magic and logic, substantiate with evidence, articulate with strategic frameworks and bring everyone with you please using your high emotional intelligence and humble nature
Facilitate workshops for relevant themes in Strategic Planning
Don’t rest on your laurels but evolve the thinking as business objectives, human, market and cultural behaviours change faster than ever
Optimise or revolutionise the strategy by continuously evaluating what has and hasn’t worked
Drive execution of a relatively new customer value segmentation across operational plans & change initiatives

Key Skills/Experience

Experience in a Strategic role in subscription based industries
Previous experience in leading major change initiatives
Proven strategic leadership skills on a complex, iconic brand with a track record of driving marketing strategies throughout an organisation
A sorcerer of strategic thinking and skills that have driven step change results in both commercial and marketing objectives
Ambidextrous ability to build a strategy and plan based on evidence and creative flair
Empathetic and conscientious management style, able to handle the personal & professional with confidence and focus
Customer understanding & CRM strategy experience
Fluency in customer journeys
Stakeholder management/people skills (persuade and influence)
A masterful oral and verbal storyteller with the ambition, passion and drive to achieve big things
Passion for customer and data led strategy
