**Working Hours**: Full-time 8:30am to 3:30pm,

**Salary**: £80-95

**About the school**

A ‘good’ rated two-form entry primary school in Manchester(M9) are currently recruiting for a teaching assistant for a KS2 class. The role will begin in January 2024 and will finish in July 2024. The school is located on the outskirts of Manchester city centre. There are excellent transport links for those who use public transport, making commuting comfortable and ample parking spaces for those that commute via car.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Preparing and organising classroom resources and displays, including lesson materials for lessons.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of extra-curricular activities including some of those listed above.
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour by following the school’s behaviour policy and providing a safe and exciting learning environment.
- Monitoring pupil progress and development and report these to the class teacher when required.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.

**Requirements**:

- MUST have a level 2 or level 3 teaching assistant qualification (for example: Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools)
- Have a positive attitude towards supporting children in the classroom.
- Be proactive in the classroom.
- Have strong behaviour management skills

**Summary**

**Salary**: £85.00-£95.00 per day
