This role is based out of London

Background:

To enable this, an above-the-market Centre of Excellence has been established to perform key functional and operational excellence areas within PLAN, spanning over all Diageo’s markets in this particular region, leveraging a central pool of expertise that ensures standard and effective practices across countries. This region consists of c20 plants, 30m+ cases and over £1bn of NSV.

Main areas of focus:
The Demand Planning Excellence Lead is responsible for embedding standardization and implementation of initiatives to achieve a best in class Demand Planning function across the region and various countries. The Demand Planning Excellence Lead is responsible for leading the ongoing cross-functional projects related to Processes, Systems and Governance, in order to improve forecasting accuracy and to optimize inventory levels for the region.- Support process codification and standardization to global best practice, for in scope processes.- Support performance improvement in all markets of in scope supply chain planning processes.- Support development and refinement of in scope processes, including system roadmap and capability programs.- Demand Planning Process Codification- Implementation of Improvement Initiatives and Action Plans- Capability Programs- Key deliverables will be across: Sales Forecast Accuracy - Monthly and Weekly. Sales Forecast Bias. Forecast Value Add by step. System KPIs - SKUs with forecast and no sales. Demand Plan stability

Key Accountabilities:
Project Coordination:
- Lead the Sales & Operations Execution and Customer Collaboration pilots for PLAN CoE- Support Demand Planning and S&OP manager with project management to deliver successful deployment of One Plan in market- Monitor and analyse project effectiveness by using qualitative and quantitative tools- Manage improvement projects on S&OE, Customer Collaboration and OnePlan- Plan, coordinate and monitor activities of the S&OP and OnePlan implementation projects to develop and implement procedures, processes and systems.- Prepare and present regular stakeholder updates for in-market and above market use.- Evaluate and analyse with team risks and issues compromising project results and develop plans to mitigate

Lead the Planning Excellence agenda:
- Embed codification of Demand Planning and Customer Collaboration processes.- Support in-market intervention for step change improvement.- Support improvement in Plan top KPIs and specific second tier KPI’s for all countries served by CoE.- Identify development opportunities for demand planning processes, through closely linking to Global Opex Plan team.- Support delivery of system and capabilities programs for demand planning processes.- Support change management of new ways of working in CoE with individual markets to enable a seamless process integration.

What we're looking for:
- Broad experience across supply chain and operations, with a particular focus on demand planning.- Additionally, some wider cross functional experience preferable e.g. commercial, finance or supply.- Experience with advanced planning software with Supply Planning (SAP APO would be an advantage).- Demonstrated capability in driving continuous improvement within end-to-end supply chains.- Expert understanding of Demand Planning and S&OP Processes and associated Diageo systems (i.e. SAP APO Demand Planning module).- Strong stakeholder engagement skills.- High degree of quantitative and analytical skills and attention to detail.- Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and presentation.- Customer centric mind set.Worker Type:
