We are currently looking to recruit **Support Workers** to join our expanding team in our Residential Children’s Home located in the Nottinghamshire. We have a passion for excellence and pride ourselves on delivering a high standard of care.

Our home specialises in working with young people who display **Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).**

**This role involes working LONG DAYS & SLEEP-INS on a rota basis, you must be fully flexible to meet the needs of the children we care for.**

**A full UK driving license is also essential.**

**About us**:
Footsteps to Futures Ltd are a small organisation that have been delivering a high standard of residential care for eight years and currently operates four children's homes in the Nottinghamshire area which accommodate young people aged 7 - 18 years old with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

The aim of our service is to provide a safe and empowering place for all young people to live in. The team’s role is to improve the quality of life of children and help them come to terms with previous life experiences.

Our homes are located in Selston, Mansfield and Redmile.

**Rate of pay**:
£11.09 to £11.79 per hour depending on experience

£62.40 per sleep in duty carried out - on average 8 sleep ins per month which equates to an additional £5,990.40 annually.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in this field is advantageous, however if you are looking for a change or are someone who is patient and caring with a strong level of emotional intelligence and enjoys learning new skills and experiences we would like to offer you the opportunity to join our team of dedicated and enthusiastic staff.
- Full UK driving license with access to own vehicle.
- Aged 21 or over.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Flexibility to work long days and sleep ins on a rota basis.
- Comfortable with managing behaviours that challenge.
- Passionate about working with children and young people with challenging behaviour.
- Knowledge or willing to learn on how to support children and young people who experience EBD.
- A compassionate understanding of the complex needs of young people.
- Knowledge of the importance of safeguarding vulnerable young people.
- Dynamic and supportive with strong communication skills.
- An ability to work within a team to help support and motivate each other to provide outstanding care.
- The passion and dedication needed to positively impact the lives of young people.
