About The Job
- What you’ll spend your time doing:
While there is rarely a ‘typical’ day as an ECP specialist, here’s a snapshot of some of the key parts of the job:

- Azure environmental requests / configurations (including windows & SQL Server)
- High Level Design / Low Level Design documentation support
- NFT Closure documentation & test planning (including collecting and aggregating runtime / sql server stats / resource metrics)
- Coordinating and supporting production like ETL batch runs
- NFT performance optimisation / support (Infra changes & indexes / some code)
- DBA tasks (replication configuration / access management / server and Db config / backups and restores / maintenance / troubleshooting)
- experience with active batch
- DevOps support
- automation initiatives (Automated part of environmental config runbook / SQL agent jobs for backups & restores & mailing solution)

- What you’ll need:

- For this particular role there are some important qualifications and experience we need you to have. These include:

- A degree in Digital & Technology Solution or similar
- Experience in an agile SQL server role
- Experience working with Azure servers plus Azure certification
- Experience working in an insurance environment having a broad understanding of underwriting systems, data warehousing, ledgers, reserving data flows
