Our client is one of the largest accountancy practices in Bolton. They are seeking an Accounts Executive to join their expanding team to play a pivotal role in day to day accounts/bookkeeping.

**Role responsibilities**:

- Ability to establish good relationships with clients and colleagues
- Good organisational skills with a methodical approach to working through tasks of varying complexity
- Ability to work independently and also contribute as part of a team
- Willingness and ability to be flexible and adapt to changes, such as legislation amendments

**Essential requirements**:

- **Practice experience preferred** but not 100% essential
- AAT level 3 or above (desirable)
- Bookkeeping
- Accounts preparation
- Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
- Compliance returns **(such as VAT returns**)
- Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements
- Previous use of **Sage and Xero** accounting software systems would be an advantage
