**Here at Sciensus a new opportunity has arisen for a Pharmacovigilance Governance Officer to be based in our Burton office.**

**This is a hybrid role, coming into the Burton office at least 2 days a week.**

You will be joining a team that ensures all agreed policies, procedures and operational processes are designed and implemented to ensure compliance with all regulatory, professional and customer requirements.

We will expect you to monitor operational quality performance to ensure all agreed Pharmacovigilance policies are adhered to, produce data and report against set standards.

You will support the Operations and Quality leads to ensure the team strive always to meet quality metrics and remain motivated to deliver the best service to improve patient care and support the design of systems and processes which maximise the effective use of workforce. Identify opportunities to improve and simplify the methodology in processes and guidance, provide practical solutions and drive to implementation.

**Education**:

- Life science degree or equivalent experience

Desirable Qualification & Experience:

- Experience of working within a quality driven role
- Have a sound understanding of PV legislation and PV working processes

Skills/Abilities:

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of clinical medicine and terminology.
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
- In-depth knowledge of Good Pharmacovigilance Practice (GVP).
- Organization / planning and self-management,
- Excellent written and verbal communication, relationship management and presentation skills.
