Have you previously run a project to bring Payroll in house?

Have you got management experience?

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to oversee the current payroll function and then launch a project of implementing an in house payroll system. The company have historically used a payroll bureau but as they continue to grow it is time to run thefull process in house.

You will sit between the finance team and HR and manage one person so you need to have proven management experience.

This position will have overall responsibility for the UK payroll on a monthly basis for up to 700 employees.

Duties include:

- Manage payroll via outsourced bureau on a monthly basis
- Ensure UK PAYE and National Insurance payments are accurate and completed on a timely basis
- Ensure month Pension payments are accurate
- Manage relationships between Pension Provide and Payroll Bureau
- Liaise with HMRC
- Manage Payroll year end including P11d, PSA and STBV
- RTI Compliance
- Company Benefits
- Provide advice on tax and pay regulations
- Project work to bring payroll inhouse
- Project work to implement inhouse payroll system
- Staff management
- Process improvement projects

The client is looking for people with strong payroll exposure including previously managing projects focused on bringing process into a company function at the same time as managing the day to day role. This will be a high profile project and will be wellsupported by the business.
- Qualified or Part Qualified CIPP
- Active hands on knowledge of end-to-end payroll
- Experience of managing a payroll function
- Experience with payroll audits
- A background in payroll and benefits
- Examples of process improvement and taking lead on projects.
