We have an exciting new job opportunity for an Accounts Payable Assistant to assist in the accurate and timely processing of invoices within the Technical Services division.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure invoices are processed, registered and managed proactively, resolving queries wherever possible.
- Matching delivery notes to invoices or obtaining internal sign off where appropriate and resolving queries wherever possible.
- To assist in driving best practice for Accounts Payable within the business.
- Liaising with suppliers over invoice and payment issues.
- Process subcontractor invoices, matching to order and approval with operational management.
- Ensure correct principals of CIS are adhered to where relevant and liaise with procurement teams if queries exist.
- Ensure supplier statement reconciliations are performed on a regular basis on a sample of key suppliers each month.
- Adhere to Group policies and processes within the department.

Skills & Experience:

- Good communication skills required in dealing with internal and external clients.
- Good computer skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Flexible attitude.

Specific Qualifications
- Previous experience of working in a high volume purchase ledger role
- Strong Microsoft excel skills
