**Tasks and Responsibilities**
As Communications Executive, you will develop and manage external communications projects for the Express UK division. As a communications specialist, this role will be responsible for customer and media communications across a range of business topics, alongside partner management for relevant external organisations and suppliers to support with effective delivery. Working within cross-functional teams, the role will identify communications opportunities to deliver business objectives, and manage programmes of work within each area.

Key Responsibilities:

- The role will also be responsible for the management of external partners and suppliers that are aligned to the projects being delivered.
- Identify creative and original methods to support in delivering key business objectives. Development and delivery of a programme of comms for each project will be required, along with project reporting to determine success.
- Work with expert leads from each department, representing communications and providing expert guidance to deliver project messages as effectively as possible to our customers and media, using all communications channels available. Messages must be delivered as innovatively as possible, ensuring maximum impact and results
- Development and execution of communications plans for every key business project, with agreement gained from Head of Communications and any other relevant stakeholder
- Creation of specific campaigns and communications that align with plans and respond to key business objectives
- Innovatively review requirements and evaluate best delivery options based on latest technology and marketing practice/innovation
- Source and brief external partners and agencies as required. Ensure contractual arrangements are in compliance with current business practice
