Transport Debrief Clerk

We currently have an exciting role for a Transport Debrief Clerk, providing an excellent opportunity to join the Moran Logistics team at our Location site. The role works nights, on a 5 over 7 days shift pattern (21:00-06:00) and offers excellent rates of pay.

**About the Role**:
The purpose of a transport Debrief Clerk is providing administration support to the transport office, to ensure the drivers are fully briefed on their route and fully debriefed on return, in line with company procedures and legal requirements.

**As a Debrief Clerk, you will be**:

- Providing support to the transport shift managers and Transport manager as required
- Ensuring Microlise is managed, making sure all information is present and correct and there is full compliance to any regulations
- Accurately recording driver hours, including selfemployed and agency drivers, ensuring adherence to their run times started on their paperwork. Reporting any anomalies directly to the Transport Shift Manager.
- Responsible for the POD process, ensuring all PODs are processed and managed in line with company procedures and sent to the relevant department
- Completing all site trackers accurately for outbound from Castle Donington and collection from customer
- Recording drivers hours and comments on the Milk PVA during driver debrief
- Handling driver issues at store/delivery point, escalating to Customer services and Transport Shift Manager
- Input of system debrief completed on SAP PS1, recording all information from the drivers tripsheet
- Check previous days’ time recordings for drivers, ensuring all are recorded accurately, any times missing, refer to the driver’s trip sheet or Trutac Tachograph data to check charts and record times

**What we are looking for**:

- Good working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Have a working knowledge of Transport Legislation / WTD / Drivers hours.
- Ability to listen to and follow instructions.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A good accuracy level is essential.
- Good numeracy and literacy.
- Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
- Polite and courteous approach at all times.
