Ackton is our purpose built, state of the art banana ripening facility. Based just a few minutes up the road from our Head Office, here you will find our Finance teams, along with a number of Operational based roles.

*About the role*

We currently have an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Payable Administrator to work as part of the IPL finance team based at Ackton - Normanton, West Yorkshire.

The Accounts Payable Administrator will primarily support the business by assisting with the end to end process of supplier accounts, from the day to day processing of invoices, to the resolution of queries and account statement reconciliations, ensuring that suppliers are paid accurately and on time.

*- Full Time (8:30am - 5pm, Monday - Friday) *

*This role will involve a mixture of home and office working*

The Accounts Payable Assistant will process invoices promptly onto the Dynamics system and help and support the Team Leader in the investigation and resolution of debit balances and aged creditors and support with statement reconciliations to resolve supplier payment issues

You will work with the Commercial teams to ensure queries are resolved promptly and escalate any unresolved issues promptly to the Team Leader

*About you:*

As a member of the Accounts Payable team you will have experience in working in a high volume environment in a customer focussed role with the ability to deliver excellent customer service.

Account reconciliation experience is preferable, with excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with colleagues from varying Departments with have a confident telephone manner.

You will be proactive with excellent attention to detail and have good organisational skills whilst also being an excellent team player.

Intermediate Excel skills would be desirable and experience within working within an FMCG environment would be advantageous.
