**WHAT TO EXPECT**

We're looking for an experienced UX specialist to join a skilled team, dedicated to creating and developing an unrivaled user experience design for future Jaguar Land Rover products.

Working within an automotive field requires consideration of the impact of in-vehicle systems on the driving task and hence designing systems that support a driver to carry out this task is the primary aim.

You will work as part of the UX/UI team embedded in the Infotainment department, supporting product squads within Infotainment and liaising heavily with the wider JLR UX/UI community to produce consistent and integrated HMI solutions across the vehicle and wider JLR ecosystems.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Build into prototyping system to allow for testing.
- Work closely with user interface researchers to devise UX requirements for seamless, frictionless user journies

**WHAT YOU WILL NEED**
- Experience of developing user interface designs through a human-centred design process
- Experience in end-to-end UX/product design within an agile, multi-disciplinary team environment - including scoping, researching, prototyping and testing
- Experience designing and delivering user stories, user journeys and protoypes
- Proven track record of creating engaging cross-platform digital user experiences
- A creative and innovative approach to iterative design, with strong understanding of usability and user experience principles
- Strong interpersonal / communication skills, including ability to manage multiple complex senior stakeholder relationships and communicate at all levels
- Experience of Figma, Lucid, Jira and Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Illustrator) would be a bonus

**SO WHY US?**

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan and performance related bonus scheme. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.

This role may offer the opportunity for hybrid working where you can split your time between working from home and in the office. At Jaguar Land Rover, hybrid working is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement providing employees with more choice and flexibility around how, when and where they work, if suitable for their role. Further details can be discussed with the Hiring Manager at interview stage.
