It takes a special kind of person to undertake the role of a Community Support Worker.

Is this you?

Are you caring, reliable and friendly, with a can-do attitude to supporting individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations? Then ask yourself:
Do I want to work with people and make a difference to their lives from the support I give? Do I see myself as a people person? Would I like to be part of a team whose aim is to make people happy and fulfilled? If you can answer "yes" to these questions, then you have the qualities that we are looking for to be part of our team.

We are currently looking to recruit a 21 hour support worker to work as part of our Community Support Team based in Pontllanfraith.

The role of a community support worker is to provide support to individuals with learning difficulties and to source voluntary and work opportunities of their choice. You will support individuals to develop skills, gain knowledge and obtain qualifications, whilst making it a fun and fulfilling session.

You will be required to lone work 1 to 1 in the community and in a group setting at our other work and employment projects.

This exciting part-time opportunity is for 21 hours per week, the work pattern will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday times will be determined to meet the needs of the service on appointment to the post.

If you are interested in becoming part of our team, please contact Hayley John 07795 411747.
