**About the Role**
You’ll work closely with our external accountancy firm to support our business with finance administration. You’ll get involved in day-to-day tasks such as inputting supplier invoices on our accounts system, reconciling payments, taking client payments, obtainingstatements from suppliers, cashing cheques at the bank, and producing financial reports as required.

Our external accountants generate the end of month accounts and VAT returns, as well as processing payroll payments and pension/PAYE so you won’t be expected to handle those, but you will be required to carry out all finance administration to support thesetasks each month and will play a key role in supporting our business to ensure we can generate and file accounts reports on time and remain compliant with financial requirements.

The role will provide a great opportunity to develop skills and knowledge relating to many aspects of business finance.

**About Us**
We're an SME working in the food industry, importing one of the UK's largest ranges of dried ingredients. We focus on natural ingredients and our product range spans herbs, spices, wholefoods, botanicals, oils, and much more and we source our goods from allover the globe.

We're a friendly team of 26 between offices and production/operations and our head office site is in Wotton-Under-Edge.

**What are we looking for?**
We're looking for someone who can jump straight into our accounts and support our business with financial administration. There will be training on any business specific requirements but previous experience in bookkeeping and an understanding of finance isneccesary for this role.

Previous experiencing using both Sage 200 and Xero is preffered but not essential.
