**Buying Assistant**

**£24,750 + Pension + Parking**

This successful local organisation are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Buying Assistant to join their happy team and provide extensive support for their busy Procurement Manager.

**Some of your duties will include**:

- Supporting the Procurement Manager from product development stage through to delivery
- Working with Procurement Manager in relation to client 'next season’ requirements and sourcing manufacturers
- Liaising with factories to ensure they are fully briefed on requirement and agreeing costs
- Providing factories with key deadlines and ensuring critical path is achieved on schedule
- Raising official purchase orders and obtaining sample products prior to production beginning
- Working closely with Garment Technician to ensure products meet agreed quality standards
