Payroll Manager
The Payroll Manager is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and reviewing all payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of all payroll transactions.
**Duties**:
- Overseeing four UK payrolls
- Management of the Staff Payments Office
- Lead, motivate and develop the team while monitoring performance
- Define solutions and the implementation of the change programme deliverables
- Developing required process documentation and training material for the team, providing updates as required
- Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of all payroll transactions
- Managing the Concur expense system
- Advise on all statutory compliance and aspects of employment tax
- The Client uses the SAP Payroll system and this imperative experience at a high level. Proven track record of strong leadership in a large payroll function, within an SAP framework
- Ideally coming from a large company background and able to manage multiple payrolls.
- Payroll technical expertise coupled with experience in change management and governance.
- They need to be a people manager and leader, able to coach others.
- Demonstrated analytical and data-informed decision-making
- Extensive systems knowledge including SAP, Microsoft Office and Excel
- Experience of working in higher education sector would be an advantage or other complex organisations.
