Audio Typist

The post holder will provide a comprehensive administration and audio typing service to the Rheumatology clinical team as required. The post holder will also be expected to organise own workload in order to maintain an efficient and professional service.
- Competent computer and audio-typing skills are essential and a cheerful, flexible approach to the workload is necessary. This is a busy role which will involve multi-tasking with ever-changing priorities.

The role requires you to have a current right to work in the UK, which enables you to undertake the role without need of sponsorship.

To assist the clinical team by providing a comprehensive secretarial

service, typing and distribution of documents and reports, recording

information and filing, ensuring that all information and documentation

is produced to expected standards of performance, and according to

agreed timescales.

To occasionally book Fast Track TIA clinic appointments by contacting patient by telephone and booking onto the Millennium system.

Update patient information/data when patients have been seen,

according to the agreed quality standard, locate and retrieve

supplementary documentation for patient information/data as required.

To liaise with Nurses, Doctors and other members of the multi - disciplinary team to provide a quality service for the patients.
