**Barbering Tutor required - PART TIME**

CPBA is a fast growing academy specialising in beauty, hairdressing and barbering.

We have strong partnerships with colleges and academies across England.

We are looking to recruit a **Hairdressing & Barbering Tutor who can teach/assess Level 2 & 3 hairdressing and Barbering at our Leyton Academy.**

The post holder will:

- Deliver and assess Level 2 & 3 Diploma in Hairdressing & Barbering
- Manage progression, ILPs, reviews and e-portfolio for their groups

**Essential criteria**
- Qualified Level 2 & 3 Hairdressing & Barbering
- Hold a PTLLS qualification or equivalent
- Hold the A1 Assessor Award/TAQA
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in hairdressing/barbering
- Strong communication skills
- Be able to travel to other sites
- Be willing to work weekends

**Desirable criteria**:

- DTTLS/DET qualification
- IQA qualification

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 11-22 per week

**Salary**: £14.00-£18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Weekend availability

**Education**:

- Certificate of Higher Education (preferred)

**Experience**:

- teaching: 1 year (required)
- practical: 3 years (required)

Work Location: One location
