**Job Title**: Courtwork Practice Improvement Officer

**Location**: Tower Hamlets, London

**Contract**: 6-month contract, £35/hour, Hybrid

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide hands-on support to Social Workers (SWs) in improving their knowledge and skillset in Pre-Proceedings and Care Proceedings.
- Assist Courtwork Manager in developing, implementing, and monitoring a quality assurance framework aimed at continuous improvement in court work practice.
- Support SWs in preparing Social Work Evidence for Courts.
- Aid SWs in court attendance and preparation for giving effective evidence.
- Assist SWs in planning to drive improvement in compliance with court filing dates and maintain related data.
- Provide hands-on support in writing Letter before Proceedings, Letter of Intent, and developing effective Pre-Proceedings intervention plans.
- Lead the DFE data set pilot project in Pre-Proceedings.
- Assist the Courtwork Manager with data gathering on various innovation initiatives.

**Requirements**:

- At least 3 years of post-qualifying experience with significant experience in Courtwork.
- Familiarity with quality assurance frameworks and reporting cycles.
- Ability to drive and embed change at all levels within an organisation.
- Proven ability to effectively engage and deal with stakeholders at all levels in the delivery of program outcomes.
- Bring a structured and organised approach with appropriate rigor.
- Bring clarity and pace to delivery in a complex environment.
