DESCRIPTION

Do you have a background and experience in Personal Lines and are passionate about a career in insurance, keen to take the rare opportunity to get into commercial?
If so, we have a brand new opportunity available, which has come about due to growth and expansion, for an Account Handler to join one of our brilliant clients as part of their specialist SME commercial team.

The Role
As Account Handler, you will be responsible for providing an outstanding service to clients and broker partners at all times, managing their renewal and new business insurance arrangements and ensuring appropriate cover is secured to meet their requirements.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Nurturing and preserving relationships, interacting and liaising with clients and insurer/broker partners daily.
- Dealing with renewals, processing mid-term adjustments and other administrative tasks.
- Ensuring all communications, documents, invoices are issued in compliance with company policies & procedures.

Skills and Experience Required
- Experience within the insurance industry is essential, preferably from a broking background.
- Knowledge and experience of dealing with commercial products would be great, however a good Personal Lines background will be equally considered.
- Be keen and willing to work towards your Cert CII.
- Have the drive to learn and ability to pick skills up quickly.
- Will have excellent communication skills, both in a verbal and written manner.
