If so, we’ve a fantastic opportunity within our Construction business for a motivated and talented Senior Project Engineer to join us in Yorkshire and North East, covering the DEOP programme

About the Role**

You’ll join us to be responsible and accountable for the technical engineering management on parts or all of a project depending on size, requiring planning and programming capability. You will have experience of setting out and you will be fully conversant with the use of EDM/total station instruments. Experience of maintaining quality inspection records and undertaking inspections is a pre requisite as is managing technical information flow between the design team and delivery team.

About You**

Educated to professional level with a relevant degree or equivalent in a core business discipline, you’ll have a thorough understanding and experience in the use of construction methods, health & safety and legal regulations. Fully conversant with the use of robotic total station instruments along with some experience of AutoCAD.

You’ll need to have experience working on large complex projects and a good understanding of mitigating ground risks such as underground services. Also have experience of managing large groundworks sub contract packages. With excellent management skills and the ability to work well in a team environment, contributing across a business unit, you’ll be able to manage projects simultaneously without compromising on standard and quality.

You’ll hold CITB CSCS Site Supervisor - Gold Card, along with having proficient knowledge in health, safety, legal and environmental legislation. Experience of working on Educational, Healthcare, or Defence schemes between £30 and £100 million working as part of larger delivery teams would be advantageous.

A full UK driving licence is essential.
