This is to enable our practitioners to identify and support children with SEN or disabilities to promote equality of opportunities and improve outcomes for all children in our care.

You will be required to work as part of the team under the direction of the Management Team and SENCO to provide safe, high-quality education and care for young children. To maintain a stimulating and enjoyable environment always working in line with the settings policies, procedures.

We are looking for someone who is warm and welcoming, looks to create a positive impact on others and understands the importance of narrowing the gap for children less fortunate than others thourgh positive relationships.

Duties Include:

- Focus on getting to know the children, educating through providing well planned play opportunities
- Work in partnership with parents and other professionals to promote the best outcomes for all children including those with SEN
- Keeping accurate assessments records of childrens development to ensure all children can have an equal chance to make the best progress.
- Provide consistent high quality, child centred, responsive care to all children.
- You will be able to model play, provide well planned stimulating, enabling environments for children to thrive.
- Extending children’s development through play with a mixture of guided learning and in the moment teachable experiences.
- To be able to listen and respond to children in a child centred manner which Safeguards children.
- Level 3 qualified
- Preferred SEN experience and qualification
- For this role being committed and having passion for the role is essential.
- Reliable as continuety is vital for our very young children
- You must be committed to protect children from harm through following safeguarding procedures and ongoing professional development.
