**How you'll fit in to the big picture ✨**:
Procurement is central to boxxe and the work we do. Every request for new spend is channelled through this function. The Procurement team sits within boxxe's commercial business unit. The commercial team comprises of procurement, supplier management, order management and logistics.

The procurement lead is a key role within the commercial team working closely with the Commercial Director to ensure that procurement is delivering as a first class business partner to our organisation. The procurement lead has direct responsibility for our procurement and order management teams who play a vital role in the success of our business and our customers experience. You will work with different business functions such as Sales, finance, logistics, customer service and our partners ensuring that boxxe are sourcing products and services at the best commercials without compromising on quality or service.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Leading the procurement and order management teams, creating a strong team morale, focusing on employee satisfaction, job satisfaction.
- Working closely with business functions, ensuring effective collaboration and communication with other functions and key stakeholders.
- Putting the customer first, putting customer experience at the centre of all that we do for both internal and external customers.
- Engagement with sales: connecting with the sales teams, managers and leaders ensuring seamless processes and interactions. All with the aim of delivering the best commercials with outstanding customer service.
- Partnering: building strong relationships internally and externally with our partners to understand how we continually evolve commercially and operational with our partners.
- Managing and developing a team: working closely with direct reports to develop their skills to enable them to thrive professionally.
- Think commercially: take responsibility for how we spend, creating value through how the team operate, not only maximising commercial opportunities but how we operate.
- Monitoring performance; team performance and risks are proactively managed to ensure a compliant, stable and efficient experience.
- Innovating: identifying areas where we can do things better, where we can be more efficient. Embracing automation opportunities.
- Player/Manager: as boxxe advances our capabilities you will need to be willing to get involved to understand our processes to evolve them.

**What experience we think you'll need**:

- **Procurement position experience within the Technology sector, specifically the IT Channel**:

- Led a high-achieving procurement team towards successful outcomes
- Proven track record in navigating intricate sales processes and providing superior customer service
- Highly skilled in time management, meticulousness, and a keen interest in numerical data
- Great communication and persuasion abilities
- Hands on experience in establishing and sustaining long term connections across different tiers within an organisation
- Accustomed to meeting deadlines in a dynamic work environment
- Collaborative in nature, with a strong drive to self motivate and also push team members towards excellence
